I am the English VA for Son Hae-Yeong, and there is so much of myself in this character. Playing her was exactly the feel good rom-com I needed to heal my heart. It has been a treat to live with her for months and embody this pragmatist, who will read people for filth and then turn around and be the sweetest and most vulnerable – all cuz she is obsessed with fairness and protecting those she loves.
I got to work with a dream team at IYUNO with my faves Jessica Blue + Francesca Calo and a stellar voice cast for the English dub cast of No Gain No Love π …and double bonus, my mom might actually want to watch something I’ve worked on π
